Funding for your Nursing Projects
Grants
In addition to Center of Excellence development, The Atticus Group can explore public and private funding opportunities to offset program costs. State and Federal nursing initiatives favor proposals that include partnerships between healthcare organizations, colleges/universities and Workforce Development Centers (WDC). As a result of proposals we facilitated, our clients received over $10 million in government nursing grants. Currently, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), offers significant incentives to healthcare organizations that invest in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) technology. If your organization is interested in pursuing grants, The Atticus Group can help.
Private Support
Dwindling reimbursements and lack of resources consistently challenge the good intentions of healthcare organizations. CEOs and CNOs in small community hospitals are especially challenged and may believe they do not have the resources to create a Nursing Center of Excellence. In fact, most community hospitals have more resources than they realize. The Atticus Group will work with you to identify existing resources, organize them into a comprehensive and attractive package, then work with your Foundation to generate ongoing donations.
There are many ways donors can get involved with your nursing initiatives. We will work to get local businesses excited about supporting your nurses, as well as provide an avenue for increased business development. In addition to traditional fundraising activities, we will help to start a grateful patient campaign, cultivate named scholarships and opportunities to name the Center of Excellence and Nursing Leadership Academy.
